Videography

Powerful imagery is what defines film director, DP, and editor Alexandre de Bellefeuille. His work captivates audiences, evoking deep emotional responses and leaving lasting impressions.

With a degree in semiotics (ask him what that really means), Alexandre effortlessly navigates between the worlds of art and literature—where he’s made a name for himself thanks to his candid portraits—and documentary, fashion, and beyond.

Alexandre’s visual style is as versatile as they come. His images seamlessly switch between ‘pop’ and ‘hard-edged,’ showcasing his adaptability and creative flair. He’s hands-on throughout the entire process, from pre- to post-production, earning himself the nickname “Swiss Army Knife.” His directing is precise, his edits are razor-sharp. Alexandre never (ever) skips a beat and he knows when to add one to make things stronger. In his book, style is a “rhythmic affair.”

His impressive roster of clients includes Vanity Fair, Alaïa, Opéra de Paris, L’Oréal, Revlon, and tech giants like Unity Technologies and Google.

His fiction and arthouse short films, where he served as Director and DP, were selected at esteemed festivals such as Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma, Festival de Clermont-Ferrand, and Le Festival International du Film sur l’Art. They have also exhibited at the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
