Brit Phatal is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in beauty direction and hair & makeup. With an MA in Art History, Brit began their journey in beauty experimenting on themself to explore and resonate with their gender identity. In 2019, after many unfulfilled years of work in retail, they became a full-time freelancer and have been expanding their visual language through art direction, photography and content creation ever since.

Brit has worked on major advertising and fashion campaigns. Their makeup work has been featured in ID, PAPER, NUMERO, VOGUE and WONDERLAND. They have also contributed as beauty director to video campaigns for Kourtney Kardashian's latest venture, LEMME, as well as Hailey Williams' GOOD DYE YOUNG. Their audacious imagination and unapologetic style earned them an artist profile in DAZED magazine, as well as the opportunity to consult for HIGH SNOBIETY.

Known for their effortless, chic and trendsetting it-girl makeup, Brit’s regular clients include Mia Khalifa, Simi & Haze, Rebecca Black and Gabbriette. Drawing inspiration from both esoteric and culturally relevant references, their genius lies in their ability to adapt their keen and unique vision to mainstream culture and commercial media. Brit's ambition is to create a safe space that encourages people to celebrate and embrace their wildest fantasies, and to bring positive change to the industry through authentic and diverse visual representations.
